Last updated March 20, 2023

BY USING OUR SITE OR PROVIDING ANY INFORMATION, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT TO OUR PRACTICES DESCRIBED BELOW. DO NOT USE THE SITE OR PROVIDE INFORMATION IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THE TERMS OF USE INCLUDING THIS POLICY AND ANY APPLICABLE SUPPLEMENTAL PRIVACY POLICY.

TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY POLICIES

This Policy is part of and incorporated into the www.arodcorp.com Terms of Use, which is the contract between you and our Company that governs use of the Site. Please review the Terms of Use before using the Site.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT THAT YOU VOLUNTARILY PROVIDE

You always have the choice to provide personal information or not. However, you must provide some personal information in connection with certain programs and services, such as inquiries and communications relating to speaking engagements by Alex Rodriguez or other members of our team. If you decide not to provide the required personal information, we will not be able to communicate with you regarding such opportunities. Please use good judgment and be cautious in deciding what personal information to provide. We typically request only basic information needed to communicate with you regarding such opportunities.  If you voluntarily provide personal information to us and later decide that you want us to delete that information, please send your request for deletion of your personal information to the Address for Legal Notices set out below.  We may request information from you to verify the legitimacy of the request.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT THAT YOU DO NOT PROVIDE

In addition to personal information that you may provide, we may automatically collect information about you from other sources. We may collect the following information about visitors to our Site automatically, through the use of “cookies” (which are small text files sent by a web server and placed on your computer by your web browser) or other tracking mechanisms: your domain name and host for Internet access; the Internet address of the site from which you accessed our Site; the date and time you accessed the Site or a particular page or feature; your computer’s IP address and information about its operating system, browser and host; the pages you visit; Silverlight data; installed plugins; HTTP headers; and screen resolution. You may set your browser to reject cookies but if you do you may not be able to access some of the Site’s services or features. Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked.  At this time, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. We also employ third-party tracking functionality to help us compile information about visitors to our Site. Only we use that information, with the help from service providers; we do not allow others access to that information.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use personal information that you provide to us for any lawful purpose and will use it for business or promotional activities, like communicating with you regarding a potential speaking engagement or other event.  Although our systems collect the IP addresses for visitors to our Site, we do not collect sufficient other information to identify the individual(s) using a particular IP address.

OPT-OUT

If you have signed up for but no longer wish to receive blogs, feeds, or communications from us, you may opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link that appears at the bottom of our emails.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

This Site may link to websites maintained by others over whom we have no control. Most likely these sites will have their own terms of use and privacy policies, and our policies will not apply to any of your activities after you leave our Site. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of those websites, and you should familiarize yourself with the terms of use and privacy policies of any website you visit.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We maintain reasonable and appropriate, albeit not infallible, physical, electronic and procedural safeguards intended to maintain the confidentiality of personal information, including that provided by visitors to this website. We do not guarantee that our safeguards will always work.  We will not be and are not liable for disclosures of your personal information due to errors in transmission, networks that we do not control, or unauthorized acts of third parties.

CHILDREN

We do not intend to collect information from children. Please do not provide any personal information unless you are at least 13 years of age. If you have children, please caution them not to provide any personal information. If you are 13 or older, please caution those younger than you not to provide personal information. If a parent or guardian informs us, at our Address for Legal Notices (see below), that a child less than 13 years old has provided personal information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete it from our database.

IDENTITY THEFT

If you believe you are a victim of identity theft based solely on your use of our Site we would ask that you contact us using the information provided below and provide us with details regarding the alleged breach or identity theft.  You may also be entitled to obtain information from us. If you write to us at our Address for Legal Notices (see below), we will explain what information we require in order to respond. After receiving that information, we will supply, without charge, the information we are legally required to provide.

AMENDMENTS

We may amend this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the amended Policy on this page. Each amended Policy shall supersede and replace its predecessor Policy. If there is a conflict between the Terms of Use and this Policy, the Policy will control.

NO THIRD-PARTY BENEFICIARIES

There are no third-party beneficiaries of this Policy.
